Frittelle

Does every nation have its own version of carnival/sideshow food? They are somewhat different, but always consist of deep fried dough. There’s funnel cake (US), Dagwood Dogs (Australia), Loukoumades (Greek Honey Puffs), and then there’s the Italian Frittella. My soft spot is Loukoumades so I will not say ‘no’ to an alternate version if available! It’s less like a doughnut and more crunchier, like a biscuit.. still covered in sugar. 

I felt very sorry for myself afterwards…
